Our experience with Jordan Juarez Photography has been that the young man is unprofessional, discourteous, disrepectful, etc. Mr Juarez has no business sense. He does not understand that when doing business, THE CUSTOMER, is the one who is right and is paying the bill. Why did we use his services in the first place, you might ask? We examined his previous work and liked it. He came highly recommeded by a friend of my daughter. However, he makes big promises, but fails to deliver on those promises. Here are the areas where he failed us:
He failed to deliver a DVD that was readable indicating that the reason we could not read it was because "the type of DVD I used isn't compatible with your drive". I tried reading his dvd on 3 of my state-of-the-art desktops and 2 laptops. A second DVD that he gave us had fewer photographs than the first one of which over half were corrupted. I've created DVDs on my own and have learned that after burning a DVD, it should be thoroughly tested. He failed to do that.
He failed to deliver the photos that my daughter requested that he had shot on the second DVD and that she had selected in a sit-down session with him. He consistently stated that "No, you really want this one instead".
He failed to be respectful to my wife. My wife and daughter literally had to camp on his parents' porch in order to get him talk to them.
He failed to communicate what he was doing. He does not answer emails, phone calls, or texting that we've sent him.
He failed to deliver the invitations in a timely manner.
He failed to deliver the number of invitations that were ordered indicating that "no one sends out 1,000 invitations!"
Ultimately, he failed to take responsibility for his lack of delivery. He has no business sense.
If you desire to use Jordan Juarez Photography, you do so at your own risk. The old adage of "Caveat Emptor", Buyer Beware, applies here. He will gladly cash your check, but will not deliver in a timely manner what he has promised. Would we use or recommend Jordan Juarez Photography again? Absolutely not!!!! Feel free to comment on this blog. I welcome a rebuttal!

Sir. I am Jordan Juarez' father and I ran into this site. I am sorry that your experience with Jordan was not the best. As a father I'd like to ask you to take this site down. I think it is the Christian thing to do. Of course you don't have to and get your revenge that way.
ReplyDeleteRegards.
Omar A. Juarez (omarajuarez@gmail.com)
Mr, Sparkman,
ReplyDeleteI have used Jordan Juarez Photography for many occasions for over a year now. I have found nothing but professional, sincere, honest, and very technical work from Jordan. Jordan is more than capable of photographing weddings, children, landscapes, and architectural designs. He has been very easy to work with, and has done everything possible to complete every project I have thrown at him. I am pretty stringent on the quality and promptness of the completion of the project.
Jordan Juarez has a huge amount of business sense. Rod, You need to remember that when you hire a service, you are hiring a professional, and that in order to receive the best service, you need to listen to their opinions, and you will get the best possible results. I don't go to a doctor and tell him how I want him to do the surgery, and I don't tell my computer technician how to get the viruses out of my computer. When you go and hire a service, you ask for certain things, and then leave it to the professional to guide you and help you through it in order to get the best possible results.
As far as the DVD's go, the error that you were receiving sounds mostly like it was a problem with your computer, and not the DVD that you received. Jordan has been very tech savy with me, and has given my desired photographs in various forms, such as flash drive, DVD, and on the cloud.
In regards to the comment of "You really want this one instead", I would highly suggest that you would have listened to him, and maybe asked why... Jordan has a lot better photography skills than you and me combined. I am sure that pose or picture wasn't appealing in some sort of way, or didn't favor you daughter in some sort of aspect. He has been able to position objects and people in many sort of ways, and when a photographer tries to position someone, listen to the photographer. It is to help with light, or the landscape, or the way the clothing or face appears on the person.
I have not had any problems in communicating with Jordan. He answers my phone calls, and emails very promptly. From your blog, and your comments, it sounds like you have pretty severe anger issues, and that you are quite spiteful. I believe that he has done the best possible thing in this sort of situation and has ignored you. I would do the same.
So as the old adage says... "Video sed non credo" I see it, but I don't believe it.
Jordan has taken over 4000 pictures for me, and I keep on using him because of the quality, and professionalism that he has always shown me. Your blog disgusts me, and I agree with Omar that this blog does not represent Jordan Juarez Photography in any way.
I have no complaint with Jordan Juarez photography. Like I have said, I have used him on many many occasions, and He is the only photographer that I plan on using.
